1 Day - Completed

This series is finally complete. Here is some information about them:
-Each piece is started with the same basic style of ink, pencil and simplistic sketch
-Each individual pieced is painted in a technique different than the previous
-The overall feel is intended to be simple, rustic, even childish
-All the colors were chosen to help the concept around mood and feeling
-Each painting is meant to invoke a distinct but not intense easily recognized emotional response

Each piece will be available for sale. The proceeds will go to Tacoma's Read2Me program. This program is set up to pair up volunteers and struggling students to help ensure no child in Tacoma is at a disadvantage in their ability to read. I participate in this program and find it one of the most rewarding activities in my life.

More to come about this.

I love how these turned out. Each has its own story, very impressive.

Absolutely incredible. I need to put stuff up for sale on Etsy to save up for one of your pieces. Time for me to get busy!

I wondered what you were up to since you hadn't posted in a while :) Guess I should quit lurking and speak up more often, huh?
